i don’t want to be that vegetarian asshole, but why do people who eat meat give a shit about testing products on animals? actually asking.
Because of how the animal lives and whether or not I eat it when it’s dead are two relevant things to me.
I eat only free range, animal welfare approved meat, eggs and dairy. I think that people who eat caged eggs or battery farmed chicken should be made to sit in a cage.
For the same reason I also think that if I’m going to use a cosmetic product it should not have been rubbed into an animals eyes or made to swallow it to see what happens.
Just because I choose to eat meat doesn’t mean I don’t think of the ethics of the products I use and the food I eat.
